Spend a week in paradise exploring one of the more iconic dive destinations in the Bahamas. We’ll be staying waterfront at the Bimini Big Game Club, diving with the legendary Neal Watson’s Bimini Scuba Center, and experiencing everything from crystal-clear reefs and historic wrecks to unforgettable shark encounters and wild dolphin swims. Just 50 miles off the coast of Florida, Bimini feels like another world. Famous for its impossibly clear turquoise water, thriving marine life, rich island history, and relaxed Bahamian charm, Bimini has earned its reputation as one of the Caribbean’s premier dive destinations. Every day brings a new adventure both above and below the surface, with easy boat rides, warm water, and incredible visibility.
We’ll call the historic Bimini Big Game Club Resort & Marina home for the week. Located right on the waterfront in Alice Town, the resort combines island charm with modern comfort — and best of all, the dive boats are only steps from your room. Between dives, relax by the pool, grab fresh seafood, explore the marina, or unwind with a tropical drink while watching the sunset. Everything you need is conveniently in one place.

SHARK DIVING
Few dive experiences compare to coming face-to-face with a Great Hammerhead. Bimini has become one of the world’s most famous destinations for these incredible sharks, offering calm, shallow-water encounters that are as thrilling as they are awe-inspiring. Watching these massive, graceful animals glide effortlessly through crystal-clear water is something you’ll remember for the rest of your life.
WILD DOLPHINS
There’s something magical about meeting Atlantic spotted dolphins on their terms. During our wild dolphin excursion, we’ll search for pods in open water before quietly slipping into the ocean for respectful, natural interactions. Curious, playful, and completely wild, these encounters are different every time — and often become the highlight of the entire trip.
The SS Sapona is one of the Bahamas’ most iconic underwater landmarks. Built from concrete during World War I when steel was scarce, the ship was later driven onto the Bimini shoals by a hurricane in 1926, where it still rests today. Over the decades, it has been everything from a Prohibition-era rum-running warehouse to a World War II bombing target before nature reclaimed it. Today, the Sapona is alive with marine life, crystal-clear water, and incredible photo opportunities. Equal parts history lesson and underwater playground, it’s a one-of-a-kind dive that’s become a true Bimini bucket-list experience.
THE SAPONA
When you’re not underwater, Bimini is all about slowing down and enjoying the islands. Wander colorful streets, grab fresh conch and seafood from local restaurants, sip a Bahamian cocktail by the marina, browse island shops, or simply kick back with your dive buddies while watching another unforgettable sunset. The pace is slower here — and that’s exactly the point.

Getting to Bimini is easier than most folks think! We recommend flying into Fort Lauderdale (FLL). There are plenty of affordable flight options direct from AVL. Then hopping aboard the Balearia Caribbean high-speed ferry for the quick ride across to paradise. In just about 2 hours, you’ll trade highways for turquoise water and arrive right in the heart of Bimini. It’s simple, comfortable, and by far our favorite way to travel to the island.
Prefer to fly? Direct flights into Bimini are also available from South Florida for those looking to get there even faster. Either way, your tropical adventure is closer than you think!

We offer two room styles at the Bimini Big Game Club Resort & Marina, both just steps from the dive boats, restaurant, marina, and pool.
Standard Rooms
Our Standard Rooms are comfortable hotel-style accommodations and are available with either one King bed or two Queen beds.

Our Cottage Rooms are our upgraded accommodation option and are located closest to the marina and pool.
